I believe in being perfectly imperfect, staying true to myself while embracing the little quirks that make me, me. I have a low tolerance for rude and bossy people but I value kindness, sincerity and mutual respect in everything I do.
I love things I can touch and keep because in a world where communication feels fleeting, tangible things hold meaning. Whether it’s a beautiful accessory, a well-loved book or a sentimental keepsake, I appreciate the little things that last beyond a moment.
Style wise, I keep things practical yet charming, leaning towards casual and semi-formal looks with cool-toned colors, soft pastels as well as watercolour-inspired hues, especially when I can incorporate them into my lifestyle. You’ll usually find me in sleeveless A-line dresses, denim overall dresses or pastel tops with darker bottoms. Heels are off limits but I make up for it with white sneakers, a lilac backpack, or a light blue cardigan for a touch of effortless style. My accessories like my Jellycat phone case, beaded handphone charms reflect my love for playful yet polished details.
Beyond fashion, I have a deep appreciation for watercolor paintings and pastel aesthetics, as well as Peranakan-style designs which is a nod to my Cantonese Peranakan roots. I love good food and I can never resist sambal prawns with nasi lemak or the freshtangy flavors of Thai-style steamed barramundi with nasi.
My faith grounds me and I always end my prayers with “In Jesus’ name, we / I pray, Amen.” I believe in keeping things simple but intentional whether it’s in how I dress, how I carry myself, or how I approach life. Timeless over trendy, charm over excess, and always a little personal touch to make it mine. :)
