To be out in nature relaxes me, to not think about all the worries of yesterday or tomorrow, to just be in the now, being aware of the mother nature surrounding me; the colours of the earth, the various vegetations, the sound of birds and insects chirping, the rustling leaves, the stream of running water, the smell of rain. For me it’s never about a race to the destination but a journey to enjoy. Where is the enjoyment in rushing anyway?

Trekking is a bit like life; the journey only requires you to put one foot in front of the other again and again and again. And if you allow yourself the opportunity to be present throughout the entirety of the trek, you will witness beauty every step of the way.

Solitude teaches me the most important lessons. Like how to be resilient, to never bow down to another, to never 'settle' just because it's convenient, and to start putting myself first before others. My solitude has always been sweet, and during this time I learn to welcome every fragment of myself in its entirety, even the ones that others ridicule. ❤️❤️❤️
